PJR Communications is a specialist media relations consultancy, equally at home working with multinationals or start-up businesses, which places the emphasis on service and results – not excessive frills, large offices and expensive overheads.

Unlike many other PR or media relations companies, PJR’s key players are experienced journalists who have worked extensively in the regional and national Press. We know the media inside-out and use this knowledge and experience to achieve our clients cost-effective results.

PJR’s core business is media relations but we also provide copy-writing and full publication production services, and present practical media relations workshops.

PJR is headed-up by Peter Richardson. Peter trained as a journalist and worked in the regional Press for 12 years, culminating in being appointed Group Editor of the country’s largest free independent newspaper group.

16 years ago he formed PJR Communications Ltd and as well as providing media relations services, he has vast experience of producing staff and customer magazines and newsletters. For 10 years he was a leading judge for the British Association of Communicators in Business in its prestigious ‘Editing for Industry’ awards.
